PStill/Win installs completely local in one folder, it does not change or try to update your system with DLLs or similar, it does not 'phone home' and it does not contain 'spyware' or 'adware' of any kind. PStill is self-contained, it does not need or download any other components. My full contact information can be found on the main page in case of questions or comments, just follow this link.
Please send questions to this address, Thank you!
PStill received a 'Safe to Install' award from Findmysoft.com.
Download PStill for Windows as of 29. March 2013
For a list of changes see the Readme that is contained within the installation. On Windows 8 it is possible the system will warn you on installation about an unsigned installer app. You can continue by clicking on 'Show more information' and select 'install'.
1.84.22 fixes an issue with 1.84.20 causing the GUI not to accept TIFF as sources.
All versions now come with a user friendly Windows-style installer program and can now use the system fonts as templates for its PostScript base font set. To update just install over the old installation (be sure to save any changed config files like PStillConfig.inf or fontsub.table before!).
Addons extends the functionality of PStill/Win. They install 'on-top' of PStill, so be sure to install PStill/Win first.
Please tryout the software first and when you find it working for your conversion needs you can order a license key for the program online. Without license key the program runs but will paint a watermark on each page it produces and will wait for 10 seconds before starting a conversion run.
The PostScript 'normalizing' (PSRW-type) license also includes the option to output directly to PostScript and EPS additional to the ability to output to PDF. The standard license does always output to PDF.
See this information about the license options.

Setup PStill as automatic PDF printer in WindowsPStill can work as standalone application or be part of the printer mechanism on Windows. You can print from an application program (like e.g. Microsoft Word or Excel) and a PDF is automatically created on your system or the server where PStill runs.
- PStill v1.65 and newer can work as a virtual print server, accepting jobs from the Windows Printer Driver locally or over the network - no additional software is needed. See 'PStill_Guide.pdf' (installed by the PStill installer) page 16 and 25 on how to setup or click here, here (MS Vista) and here (Windows 7).
- All PStill versions on all Windows platfroms can be setup'd to use the command line module to convert jobs directly, read here: How to setup PStill/Win to work as a virtual printer
