If you work with very large images you know the problem - opening such raster images
will cause most every viewer application to allocate vast system resources and - if it
works at all - takes ages to load.
In this case LargeImageHandler comes into play, it allows to load images
- fast
- into a fixed and limited set of memory
- while caching access to the image data
LIHLib is platform independent and no image data preprocessing/tiling is needed
